Ireland
At mid-project I realised my data was confined to
Great Britain so I went away to get data on Northern Ireland. This data
revealed really patchy up-take of the Pill which I attribute to the impact of
religion. This started to lead me off in a direction that wasn’t helpful in
assessing the impact of the Pill on women’s choices. I have therefore decided
not to include this data as I feel it confuses the report. Upon consultation
with the EPQ co-ordinator, however, my supervisor and I found that the title
for my report had to remain the same.
